Street racing death involving a Scion
This happened near Seattle, WA...but it really applies to everyone. It's not worth it.

I'm not here to judge the guy, I hope he is alright. he's gotta be going through enough already.
But man...16. Way too soon.

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- An 18-year-old Newcastle man is in jail, accused of killing one of his good friends in a fiery car crash. Police said they suspect the young drivers were drag racing.
Witnesses said a red BMW and a black Toyota Scion were racing southbound along Coal Creek Road when the BMW crossed the center line and sideswiped a maroon Subaru, then hit a silver Volkswagen and burst into flames
"Unfortunately, the driver was stuck in the vehicle in the fire," said Michael Chiu with Bellevue Police Department.
The 16-year-old driver of the BMW died inside his burning car.
Moments later, the driver of a black Toyota Scion returned to the scene to check on his friend. That's when he was arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide
Officers warned teens that illegal racing can have tragic consequences

I don't want to sound brutal or anything along those lines and I'm not out to get the drivers of the cars either. As traggic as this, is I feel more sympathy for the innocent people (the scooby do & the beetle) then the ones who were being ridiculously retarded and immature for their behavior. It is traggic in having a fatality, but at the same time a incident such as this could have been easily avoided. I don't feel any pain for the drivers of these cars.
Stupid mistakes resutlt in severe consequences.

Car isnt advertised as anything near a race car. There is zero way this can be blamed on the advertisement of the car.
The only influence was his own stupidity and lack of responsibility. Scion had zero to do with it.

Regardless of advertising, the drivers are at fault here. People race everything regardless of whether it was meant to or not. Even LAWNMOWERS for God's sake......
I drive fast but I also make sure not to actually race anyone for this simple reason here. You get to caught up in winning than in making sure you don't blow yourself up. There is a line that people cross and they know when they do. I hug that line. ;)
