Stupi car insurance.
So when I had my tC and was married and living in downtown Seattle my monthly insurance was about 90ish a month.
Then I got divorced...
It went to about 120 a month.
and NOW??
freaking 300-400.
You have GOT to be kidding me.

have you had consistent insurance since you left? mostcompanies give a discount if you have had insurance for at least 6months. it also depends on what kind of car you drive. and the insurance company
I've had the mysterious rate hike a few times in my life. Allstate did it to me so I went to Geico and then Geico did it to me so I went to Progressive.
I would have to say Progressive has been the best for me so far. But no matter what, don't settle for $300-400 a month. I swear, it's like the insurance companies are just seeing how stupid high rate they can get away with charging. Either you get them to pull their heads out of their ***** or you just call someone else.

Insurance also varies by zip code, regardless of who the driver is. At your age, you get an extra discount if you are married. I can help you out with that if you want.

I have a gal that may be able to help you out. 300-400 a month is very excessive, and she specializes in chalenges, you do not have a DUI do you?
