Default Tint? Rockblocker?

Hey PacNW folks,
The wife & I just bought a TT.
Do any of you know a good place to get windows tinted? I'm looking for quality work (I hate when tint bubbles!) that's backed up. Portland area, please.
Also, I'm thinking about getting one of those invisable bra (chip protector) thingies for the TT. Anyone know a good shop in the Portland area? The Audi dealership wanted $850 for it...I thought that was a little spendy.

We just got a clear bra from venture shield this weekend on our RS4. We went w/ Venture shield because it was totally clear (the 3M kit looked like it was yellowing already when we saw it), they have a life time warranty (3M was 5yrs I think), plus the guy came to our house and installed it! You might check around for people down there (I'm in Everett). The most important thing to me was the warranty, and both the tint and the venture shield are lifetime, and can be serviced nationwide by any authorized dealer!

I'm going to have Matt install the venture shield on my new hood tomorrow! I've seen his work and it's well worth it.

Check out Speed Concept out in Aurora (just BARELY west of Beaverton). They've done the tints for a lot of the tC's in the area and have given us a lot of good deals. I got mine done for 130 with a lifetime guarantee... (and not just the cheap basic tint material either)

I think I'm going to go w/ Tommy's in Portland for window tint. Heard a lot of good things about those guys from the Portland Audi Club. You guys had any experience with them?
