go turbo!
and i'd just buy one from here, theres plenty of used ones for around 2 grand if you look. Maybe try craigslist, theres been 2 different kits the past 3 months by me. Install it yourself, then go have it tuned at a well known shop. who needs furniture when you can have boost.

I would recommend buying the furniture so you and your wife and friends can all enjoy it!! I sold all my furniture for car parts lol and I miss it but a turbo'd car is nice, but i recommend doing that 2nd

You have to really think about this one and what you really want your car for. Is it a daily driver?

It's not a girl/boy thing. Only Cynce &myself said furniture, whereas 3 guys also said to go furniture.

Ultimate decision is yours, it's your car, you do what you want.

I wasn't going to chime in on this but I think I will back Cynce and Tina on this because we have all been there. The three of us have all built very nice cars, dumped tons of money into them with little return. Tina has hers, I am parting mine out at a HUGE loss, and Cynce traded hers at a loss.

Get furniture, enjoy it.

One other thing about a turbo or any mod to a car. It is never just a fork up the money, bolt it on and go. It will become far more costly than you think.

Ultimate decision is yours, it's your car, you do what you want.[/quote]

Best statement in the whole thread right there.

if you have gone through 10 cars in 10 years than for sure you are gonna get bored and sell this one. have you ever owned a turbo car ? aftermarket or stock ? i say go turbo. and enjoy it. two reasons. you already have furniture, you dont have a turbo. your family owns a furniture store, so you can buy furniture as you go and just replace the ones you have as you go. as far as the install goes. how far away are you from the pasco, richland, kennewick area of washington ? because if you are not too far from me i would help you install the kit. i recommend the turbo toyotas kit as you can get a basic for 2400. thats a steal. or 3400 with fuel management. you have already put a lot of money into your house from the sounds of it, so why not spend some money on you to make you happy and save some money in the long run by not getting bored of your car and want to trade it in and loose money on it. i gurantee you wont get bored with a turbo as fast as you will get bored of sitting on that furniture you buy. i say have fun with it as long as you can.
