If you think that is good you should try my stuffing........seriously......beans and stuffing......

 

I know most of the recipe, and do make a copy of 'em now (and even mine really ARE good), but Brian's are better. He has the "touch" and apparently a better source of "eye of newt"...

 

I will gladly trade some eye of newt for some curry

 

(Free hint, Brian - run right up to Trader Joe's and get a bottle of Thai Red Curry! That stuff is excellent and VERY close to what I tasted while in that area...)

 

Free hint taken and have begun running........well perhaps I will drive......not sure my fatt butt can run anymore.

 

I'm definitely going to miss out on some great cooking!

My workplace is giving us a few extra days off for the thanksgiving weekend since we're going to leave soon (for a very long time), so I'm going to take advantage and visit the folks in socal.

Let me know if anyone wants me to pick up anything from there...

I fly out the morning of thanksgiving...I missed thanksgiving with the folks two years in a row so they want me to be there this year...

 

dang i wish i could be there to enjoy the eats but we will be having some of jessica fam over to enjoy the free food and plus my work gives out free turkeys so i got me a 17 pound bird to enjoy LOL

 

I know someone who has a 11 lb turkey that may be willing to trade a coconut and a shrubberie along with the 11 lb turkey which now has freezer burn for a 17 lb turkey.

 

Ok so I need a roll call on who is coming......I have gone and purchased the basics......

So far we got

Turkey
My stuffing.......better than you can imagine
My green beans yes they will be good
My baked beans......very secret.....you will be amazed
Cindys Corn cassorole
Cherry Cheese cake.....no need to say more.
Sweet potatoes candied the way they should be.
I beleive Cindys mom is making the incredable no crust pumpkin pie.......yes you have not had pie till now.
My mom usually brings a smashing apple pie that makes me remember being a kid.

But I need to know who is coming and what they are bringing so I can adjust menu accordingly.......

 

I will also add I am going to attempt my first sweet potato pie........might be good might suck.......I am leaning towards good.
