Re: Very stupid question
Its a PCV valve. On our cars i dont know where its located. On my old car which is a Regal, it sits right on the valve cover. How many miles on your Tc?

If I remember right it has to do with the oil not flowing backwards from the airfilter into the engine.

On the Xb and XA we do not have a PVC "valve"
It is the 3/4 inch tube that comes out of the top of the head and runs to the air intake tube to the air box. on an after market intake they supply a PVC type valve that you attach in the middle of the head to the intake on a hose supplied in the kit.
Sorry could not find a pic of the TC motor to see where it would be.
These rarely go bad in cars that have PCV "valves"
