Get yourself a lawyer, and just get it dropped. PM me and I will refer the best your way.

GL and for the record (no pun intended), it will go on your record unless it is dropped or you get it defered.

Don't get yourself a lawyer...what a waste of $$$.

In Washington State you can ask for a "deferred sentence" once every 7 years. Basically you pay an administrative fee and they "hold" your ticket. Then if you don't have any infractions within a year they dismiss the ticket.

BUT...if you get another ticket within a year you have to pay the full price of both tickets and you forgo your administrative fee payments too.

Every can use it once. Just check the mitigation box, go in front of the judge, and ask for it...no cost!!!
