Default What to do

Hey yall.... I am coming up to the Portland area Sun. Feb 11... for some training for work. What is going on up in your neck of the woods that someone can do in walking distance of SE Stark and the 205?

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

How many days will you be in PDX? And what are the hours of your training?

Ummmmmm, I have no idea what the 205 club is I am staying at the Holiday inn a half a block away and the place I am going for training is one street behind it.....

I will be in town Sunday night, class should let out before 5 Mon & Tue and I head to the airport at 3 in the morning Wed. I'm not very happy with my travel planner about that one....

All I know of is breakfast at Elmer's and there is a good pizza joint about 10 blocks away.....

It's me and some sap I work with, but he can be dumped anywhere.....

Ouch, sounds like you had the same travel planner that planned my trip to Miami, lol, had me leaving at 8am after being drinking all night. What time do you get in? maybe we can hook up for a bite to eat or something, let me know.

My flight gets into PDX at 6:50 PM figure 30 minutes to get our luggage and wait for the courtesy van to get us back to the HI....if you wanted to catch a steak dinner around 8 or 8:30.....

I eat good on the boss's dollar.... when I hit the road, a cow dies.

lol, yeah, Todd is a character, we just haven't figured out which one he is, lol. I think there is a restaurant across the street from where you are staying that is the home of the 72oz T-bone, been a while since I've been in that neck of the woods. You renting a car? Was just wondering. Too bad you won't be in town longer, take a trip up to the mountain.

Negative on the rental...boss thinks we can walk the block to Aimco and then sit in our rooms drinking milk and watching TV...

I want to hit the mountains so bad I can taste it, I am already working on the wife to go back out that way for vacation next year....I will see a sunset over the Pacific ocean before I die.

I am almost sure that you are talking about Elmer's for the steak....their breakfast is number 1!

Rob, I think the steak house is called Saylors Steak House. It has a giant rotating sign with a picture of a steak on it.
