Ok in our new place our bonus room is about 24' long x 12' wide.

Of these 3 choics, what do you think we should do?

A) Home theater with around 6 chairs, riser, proj, screen & surround system

B) Game room w/ pool table

C) Home theater and game room

I say home theater w/PS 3 hooked up as bluray player and for video games.

 

that is what i am leaning more towards - i have always wanted a pool table so i'm trying to determine if it's worth it or not

 

a ps3/xbox360, couch and tv all combined are a lot lighter than a pool table..

 

I do like the stripper pole idea, lol. But maybe that would be more for another room in the house.

 

I'd make it both, function > pretty

 

is the bonus room ground level or 2nd floor/upstairs??? if its ground floor... we're digging a pit and and making a lift for a pool table....

 

Theater Room. Build in a Awesome Wall Humidor, stock it with good cigars
and single malt Scotch.

 

Bonus room is above the garage, but i can still do the lift idea ha ha

Whatever you decide on, you GOTTA have a fireman pole going down to the garage! I vote hardcore mancave BTW. Big TV, Lots of speakers, Bar, fridge, stripper pole, pool table, URINAL, and a midget butler named Chauncy.

I can tell you our bonus room is a pool room and we use it next to never..

Back when there was a TV/console/couch setup in there, it was a whole different story.

Man we need a projector in there.. Stupid pool table..
