What is up with having to log in every 2 sec

What is up with having to log in every 2 sec
I don't know if any one else is having problems with the system making you log in on almost every time you switch a page, and every time I try to up date my profile it makes me login and then as soon as I do it takes me to something else so I cant edit my profile any more and it is makeing me crazy
