I am able to help on the polishing if needed as well as LED installs..........got both down pretty good now........takes a lot of time and beer........LOL...........but in the end it looks great..........

First you need to sit down and write out a plan..........otherwise you will end up tossing out parts as the design evolves.........

For instance.......I almost bought the Kaminari kit........but the VRD grille I have will not fit........neither will the VRD fogs...........rather than toss $300 in parts aside hoping to resell I decided to get the Five Axis kit instead...........able to use all my parts I already bought and it will look good too.........

Your interior upgrades for seats will cost a pretty penny for quality work but I think their are a few good shops inthe area.........been along time since I loked around though so perhaps someone here wil know a few.

let me know if you need help with the polishing or LEDs.......Brian

Fot the custom logo i would venture over to the xb forums and ask EzBaked it seems that he can make just about anything and it all looks amazing. If he can't help you im sure he could point you in the right direction.

As far as the interior goes, you can't beat CarNutz in Bellvue. In my opinion, they are the best of the best when it comes to custom work. They could probably even help you with that turbo later on down the road.

On top of whatever you pay for the Raven kit - expect to budget $1500 more for paint and fitting. The kit fits HORRIBLY - so you will need to pay a shop to make it fit properly and get the paint to match.

If you want a GREAT fitting kit right outta the box go with Kaminari or Five Axis. Otherwise you'll give yourself a headache at the body shop.

(P.S. I have access to Five Axis body kits! PM me if you're interested in ordering)

if you want to remove the tc symbol just go get some fishing line or dental floss and a hair drier and heat the area with just a little bit of heat and then start sawing with the floss or line once done then get the sticky stuff off with what ever works i just rubbed mine with a towel and then used some m3 rubbing compound to get the small scratches out.

hey import... how do you know it taks forever to put on and it costs that much... im totally in love with the kit but i need the facts on if its even worth it... maybe i should just stick with the stock kit and just custom everything else... but the whole point of me putting it on was for people to wonder what kind of a car mine is... the mission is simple... customize the tc to a point to where it doesnt look like a tc anymore and it looks different than others

Guamzson,
Scandalous is the one I think you are referring to,.. I'm sure if you have questions about modding a tC she's pretty good on her advice. She seems to know a lot about it, that's my guess....

Have you ever seen her car?!

I've got a question for you;
How come you got a tc if you just want it make it look like something else?
I've seen a few cars that have different front/rear conversions on them.
If you make it clean, then great but if it just looks ____ty, be aware that many people are going to criticize you.

I'm assuming you were referring to me since I'm the one that made that comment....

I know that the kit fits horribly because I have several friends who have purchased this kit and complained how horrible the fitment was. Also, if you do some research on ScionLife and other Scion forums, you will find that most other people have complained of the same problem.

I have been modding my car for almost 3 years now, I have done MORE than my fair share of research when it comes to tC parts, and I have [what some refer to as] one of the most highly modified tCs in the country right now. Any questions about parts and products, I'm more than happy to answer honestly.

If you really love the Raven kit, that's great - don't let anyone else deter you from purchasing it and putting it on your ride - just be aware that you WILL be spending extra money at the body shop getting it to fit properly.

Leslie...I think we need to take a look at your car and figure out what is wrong.....It's not a sports car or anything but i also heard you mention that you couldn't keep up with dans xB. I have all the basic bolt ons intake, exhaust, header, t.b.spacer, grounding kit, engine dampner etc. and i can still only hold with nate till about 60 then he starts to pull. Something doesn't sound right

Vi3t are you having problems with your ride?????

Guamison...........the Raven kit is a kit that has a lot of body work to be done to get it to fit.......I think if done correctly it could look good........but it wil cost a lot to get it to fit..........once it is on you will need to find the right wheels to work with it too.........

What style of Import are you drawn to the most............drift cars, show cars,slammed,1/4mile cars, track cars.............

I think knowing what kinds orf cars turn your head everytime you see them will help.........as a group we can help find kits or parts that will make it look great with minimum work to do so........

What is your timetable and budget to make the mods.........body work takes a lot of time and they usually need to do it with the car in their posession.
I can help guide you through the work, but it takes a lot of work to get most kits like that fit .

the reason kits like the Kami and 5 AXis cost so much is they take no body work to fit in most cases..........don't be discouraged........perhaps you can come over and I can help you find what will work and what others have found that works and what it takes to get them to work..........Brian

I DO THAT ALL THE TIME!!!! OMFG!!! MY BROTHER'S COROLLA IS FASTER THAN MY CAR (with his wife and kids in it). WHAT THE EFFFFF?!?!?!?!

Chris,
I was pretty far behind as I was trying to keep up with Dan when he raced a 300c. But we should all keep in mind that my car is automatic and my dad won't let me trade it in for a manual since he doesn't know how to drive stick. It's all very sad. What's even sadder is that I've had some ideas about selling my car,.. I'd be able to get 3 fast cars, Hondas. :D

Cindys is an auto also.........it has no problems staying up with Brad when we were headed to the meet point.perhaps you are pushing the pedal too far........on cindys if you push the pedal 90% it actually pulls harder than all the way to the floor........

have you looked at your air filter..........dirty perhaps........that will slow you way down...........

yeah viet your most likely driving you car all wrong. my 4 bange toyota can out gun a corolla. driving and auto is easier then a stick if you know how to work the tranny and know when to shift to the next gear. i wouls check fuel filter and your air cleaner. also look at how far down you have your peddel when your driving. some cars you can over peddle it at the wrong times and it backs the car down out of a lower gear to fast if you dump the peddle.

for love of scion. do not buy a honda.

My brother's corolla is a 5spd and he just has an intake.

Brian, My air filter is clean, it's a K&N one.

ibnboxin, Of course driving an automatic is easier than driving manual, I've learned how to drive manual and it's more fun. What's wrong with Honda? My family is a Toyota family, so if I were to get a HONDA, it'd be out of my own pocket, and I REALLY want one,... a cute little Champion White EG Hatchback. That'd be my fun quick car, my tc will stay my slow show car.
