Um dont get spacers unless they come with new studs. Your asking for trouble unless you put on new studs as well. Even the 5mm ones should have extended studs. Play safe!!

5mm spacers you will be fine.

Anything more you have a couple options, for applications 10mm-20mm, You get extended studs and a spacer, this is good if you wish to take the spacers off, you just have extended studs and with open ended lug nuts you have no issues.

Then you also have the bolt on spacers for applications 25mm and greater. With spacers get hubcentric H&R ones. Don't cheap out, Kics aren't hubcentric, good products but probably not a good idea. Spend the money, don't risk your life for something that could kill you or make a wheel fall off and really damage your car.

For people that say spacers aren't safe. Wrong, if you get good ones. I have always had H&R spacers on my xB. 25mm Bolt on ones. ZERO issues.

5mm should be fine but you will need bigger studs. fills in nicely to match up better w/ the fenders from what I've seen. I was interested in getting some too but didnt do any research =\

Right Brad, 5mm you should be fine with stock studs.

Also if you get a 10mm.. kit and up at least on H&R's they include studs.

I have H&R 5 mm spacers on the rear and have to agree with Will all the way. We have huge spacers on the rear of the xB and haven't had any problems but they are the bolt on the wheel ones, w/ new studs.

No they don't.

From personal experience I have 2 sets of 5mm Spacers for my VW R32 sitting here and they are the spacers only.

I like the build quality of the H&R over Ichiba. H&R's spacers use a standard socket for install of their bolt on spacers, not a proprietary nut with a special adapter for a regular socket.

Also H&R Spacers are DOT Certified and TUV (Europe) Approved. I don't see anything like that on Ichiba's site. Just some food for though.

From their website (I check every size from 5mm up and they all say this;
Bolt Pattern: 5/100 & 5/112
Center Bore: 57.1
Thread: 14x1.5
Longer Studs Not Included (Order Separately)

Note:

Sold as one pair (2pcs) without longer studs.

ummm guys... carquest sells studs at pretty much whatever size, thread pitch, and length you need for like 2 dollars a piece... just saying. and something to consider... if you go much past a +35 offset its going to be hard on your wheel bearings and the tC has a sealed hub and bearing replacement that isnt very cheap at all. so i am just throwing that out there as well.

and something to add on... it really depends on the design of the wheel... one of my sets of wheels used to only get like 5 threads on the lug studs... it would go down the road just fine but fate always seems to be like the big bubba guy in jail... you tempt him and hes gonna f@$% you.
