So I have seen the Scion tC commercial where its digital and they show the tC with like fins on the back. and i kinda think it looks neat. Has anyone done that? would it be something that someone would do? think itd ever be a dealer option?

I think if done right and it was on a car that did shows that itd look kinda cool. now if it was put on a daily driver it might look kinda weird.

 

are we talkin like a diffuser like the lan evo has? or just fins... it would prolly help if i watched television. cause if we are talking a diffuser i am already lookin into that one.

 

That particular tC - the "Shark Fin" one - was at the Scion Miami event - yes it is a real car.

There were a number of the Scions from the commercials there, including the red xB with the widebody kit, etc.

The tC Shark had nicely (and very professionally) done bodywork, and they all had great paint.

Yeah, not too fond of the shark fins, as Tomas said, saw it in Miami, loved the xB and barbwire xA.

 

Yeah.... BUT... the tC in the commercial was entirely CGI... the one at Miami and in the pics is an entirely different car, with a different body kit...unfortunately

I prefer the commercial version a bit more than the one they tried to reproduce... as the back bumper and such had a cleaner appearance with the fins, as it had better lines...

It'd be interesting to see an entirely one off version, but it'd cost a crap load.
