TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! i'm actually really sad cuz of the snow, can't get to school, work, a idiot hit my car today cuz they don't know how to drive in the snow.

 

I LOVE SNOW!

I got everywhere with no issue at all despite watching out for idiot drivers and people with crappy tires.

I'm really happy with my Blizzaks too, they're amazing!

I got to school and work and back to school and home with no issue at all! And school was cancelled but I had to visit a teacher because of a midterm rescheduling being affected by today's cancellation, taking it tomorrow morning!

 

i know i love snow too! but this is probably the first time snow is making me mad! grr >:[

 

Just go play in it, stuff happens, not worth dwelling on it so much, it'll work itself out.

Im up at OHSU in portland and its coming down but not sticking. Ordered my blizzak ws70 today but won't have it installed until tomorrow evening.

 

I am here in Calexico, CA (that's on the Mexican border) waiting for a load to clear customs.. 60 deg @ 8pm.
(Nope ain't gonna make it home for turkey)
you guys & gals be very careful if you have to drive, it is supposed to get worse till Thursday, then hit again Friday & thru the weekend.

 

12 hours from Tacoma to Harborveiw to u-village and back to Tacoma..

 

got 5 inches of snow in University Place.......ugggggg......gotta try to get to Silverdale today,Mall lost power.....so I gotta get my Sears store back up......bad part is Highway 3 in Gorst is blocked with tree,highway 3 to Silverdale blocked with jackknifed semi....gonna be a long long day.....may just give up and go get some cocoa.

 

We got snow last night in Hillsboro & woke up to ice everywhere! Took me an hour & a half to get from Hillsboro to the Zoo on HWY 26..gotta love Oregon drivers

 

Left for work 9:30am.......got there around noon....highway was closed for hours so spent some time at friends in Gig Harbor......got home 7:30pm..


Miller time at the Zinn house......then back at it again tomorrow......but goodness.....then I get to eat on Turkey day and enjoy life.

 

I feel ya.... It took me 3 hours to get from Renton to N. Tacoma last night. UGH

 

We got A LOT of snow over here in Spokane. The temp right now is -5 degrees. My tC is almost to the point where I can't see it n e more.

 

Not leaving the house in this stuff 'cause I just don't have to any more.

Spent 25 years as one of the guys on the call-out list to head in to work in the middle of the night when things broke.

Things like another big snowstorm back in '73 when it took 5 hours to get from Auburn to Seattle in my Volvo, starting from home on a call out just after midnight. Worked a 27 hour day.

Bought my first Toyota that weekend - a '74 Land Cruiser. Nice shiny beast that was, I really enjoyed that brute.

 

We didnt get that much but the ice made up for the lack of hazard of the little snow...Scott bet you wish you still had that truck right about now, huh?

ya i've been thinking the unspeakable thing...looking at jeeps and going back to a truck...i wish i had the funds to have both...i got around really well actually, for not having snow tires, studs or chains, i never got stuck once.
