My grandmother said they should of been planted back in November but that I could try. If someone wants to try, come and plant an acre of them at my house, go right ahead, lol!

just how many spots are they having this year?? think we had 10 last year... and the parade officials balked at that...sorta...

I made it VERY CLEAR we would have 15-20 this year...

 

If this is really a saturday I am in. I can get real creative.

 

What are the flowers going on? Cars/ float? What quantity is needed? I have a semi-good hook-up through the Fred's but I would have to see how many are needed. They are usually come 18-24 bunches of 4-5 stalks (which usually have about the same number of blooms) per case. Let me know and I'll see what kind of price I can get.

Also Bethany & I are looking at the calendar still but interested, just not putting our selves on the list yet...

if we do a float of sorts, we need a ton, if we decorate the cars, I used 100 on my baskets last year. I say we make sure to embrace the daffodil spirit and go big or go home!

 

How long is the route...did you guys go through the whole thing last time (Tacoma - Puyallup - Sumner - Orting)? Or did you only do some cities (like just Puyallup)?

I think it'd be great to have a planning meeting on this!

Last year, dustin had some flowers hooked up on his bikerack, others put flowers under thier wiper blades... it would be cool to do something interesting on each car. We should plan for crappy weather... last year we got off lucky though the staging for Tacoma was kinda chilly.
