Default Why was my PDX post moved to SE?

Disclaimer
This is merely a question regarding the movement and is no way meant as an attack.

The PDX post was to allow people to come to meet & greets and hang out. SE or not. If the thread is only allowed in the SE forum, Your everyday SL user isn't going to be able to see it. Logic would tell me that would be counter productive to the entire purpose.

If anyone would like to explain to me why the thread was moved, I would love to hear it.

Thanks,
Kelly

I agree, not as an attach either.

IMO, the new post that kelly put up should be made a sticky and locked so there are not any other posts put on that thread. It should only be updated by folks who are making the plans.

It's good to have post like that on every single scion website for new folks to find active clubs. I know as a new member to SE, I would never have found SE without this forum.

See everyone tomorrow

Well looks like it'll be time to send in my money so I can at least be able to post in the SE forums... Wasn't sure the understanding or outcome to why it was but I have a pretty good guess.

The PDX and the local owners meets moved to the SE forums also had me very baffled to say the least.

With that said, hopefully this new setup will work out fine and not cause people to revoke in a "un-kind manner"

This is in no way a attack toward any person or any local club, but I totally agree w/ Kelly. I don't think that should have moved to the SE forum 'cause that was a way for any local scion owner to post info, questions or their attendance to any of those 2 meet & greets. These meet & greets are meant for new scion owners to meet fellow owners, regardless of their club affiliation (if any). I'm not certain how any of those posts were viewed as attacks so I am hoping that it will be unlocked so that any scionlife user can post on that thread.

Hope to see you guys around at all the meet & greets!!!

The idea is to start a new thread with the basic information in it and then one of the mods will sticky and lock it so its just an informational thread with no chance for bickering or sqaubble-ing!

Start the new thread!

So why is the 'other' one still in the regional forum?

i don't beleive what others had said to be intended as "bickering or sqaubble-ing." I think it was just informational questions into why things had changed.
