So.... as many of you know my car has been MIA for almost 1.5months or longer... to me seems longer...

going thru xB withdrawls suck.... not having it for a day or 2 is one thing... but this long sux.... also w/o having it kinda makes one feel like they have no business hanging out on sites like this.... i lurk and post up occasionally.. but my post count /average has severely dropped the last 2 months or so...

checked status of my car today... phase 1 of 2 is done... phase 2 is... unknown... as of sometime this week phase 2 was 1/10th done... person i talked to didnt know if that was done as of today or as of start of the week...
as of right now it looks like i'll be out of Import Motion 3/3.... wonder if i could still get my free bracelet even w/o my car??? hmmm

anyways... unless its farther along than what the guy i talked to knew about... i wont see it till after i get back from AZ in March (20th?)
i'm sure it'll be all i wanted and more...but its now 2 weeks behind schedule and possible 2weeks out still...

sigh.... had to vent...
should still make it sunday.... but grr.... not in my car

 

Dang, that is an awful long time to be without your car. Are the people working on it just slow or is it that you really have 2+ months of work being done on it?

I was going to have my father drive up one of our xBs on Sunday but I could always change that (if I get out of my father coming, I could get drunk, yay!). It wouldn't be YOUR xB but it'd probably help a bit.

 

get a refer. box, lay it on its side, cut hole in top and sit in it, should help a little, lol.

kekai what are you doing to you xb that is taking so long to be done ( if it is a surprise that is cool you dont have to tell us ) lol just wondering because that last time i seen it was with at the interior gone at the kube 93 thing.

Fabulous body kit going on is the only thing confirmed at this point... as i made that known long ago that i had the kit sitting for a while...

At the SCAAs your box was parked out front, and she of course noticed the Tikis (and liked them). What really surprised me, though, is she even commented on your wheels and said they were the best looking she'd seen.

Sorry you are without your box for so long - there must be a lot going on with it.

Drool..FAB kit is awsome! If I...we were going to get one for the box it would be that one, but don't think we'd be able to match the paint....

 

i dunno... i've been following Steve...aka Sydny...somthing on here (sorry) guy who hit black ice in his RS4.... they got done painting it this past week.... looks pretty dang good doors, hood, engine bay parts.... hopefully he'll post an update here as well

going absolutely crazy without my car but.....
its back together and getting suspension checked after the almost complete outside dis-assembly, and I'm in process of updating
getting my baby back baby back baby back.............. Tuesday or Wednesday see ya all tomorrow

 

I feel you Kekai...I'll be away from my tC for 3.5 months before I get to drive it again.

And we're forbidden to drive vehicles in foreign countries, so no Japanese tuner action for me in Japan

 

Kk, if it makes you feel any better since Jan. 1st, I have only had my car for maybe 2 weeks.. So basically I haven't had my car for 2 months either and I know your pain.. It does suck not to have your car when you really want it.. Specially when you have to rely on someone else to take you to work and pick you up.... ha ha

You never realize how made we have it with our cars till they are taken away from us..

By they way, I can't wait to see the finished product.. It looks good from what I saw. And NO I WON'T TELL ANYONE WHAT HE IS DOING... I swore to him I wouldn't share.

(My mum just got her xA back from the bodyshop. It was only gone four days, and she had a nice Mazda 3 hatchback rental while it was gone, but she griped about not having her little car the whole time. :D )
