Default XM Deal Question

Okay, did anyone here get the free 3 month deal from Scion for XM Radio?

Our dealer/agent told us about it but didn't actually do the activation. Instead he just told us to use the # and Radio ID off our head unit and gave us the XM flyer. (This was for our Green Box bought at Doxon in Auburn)

We followed his directions and yet we just got a bill for $40+ because apparently the Dealer is supposed to call a special # for the deal. So we got charged since the dealer didn't follow the proper procedure.

Did anyone else get this promotion? Did anyone else have this problem?

It took me almost 45 minutes on the phone with them to get the situation cleared up and it was very frustrating!

UGH!!!!!!!

I didn't get the code but XM cleared everything up for me today.

That's what I thought though...that the dealership was to help out with activation. My dealer poo-poo'd me and didn't want to help out.

Oh well...sort of fixed now.

I am very sorry, hey at least you always have Steve from Puyallup, Kelly From Gladstone, myself Victor From Lake city, and several other dealers out there that are willing to help with anything that you need.

Any Questions just ask us and we can try to help anyone the best that we can.

Victor

I am sorry that you had a bad experience

I know that you guys ROCK!!!

And believe me...I'm on my 3rd Scion now and with this last purchase on from here, I'm going to stick with YOU GREAT GUYS for all my Toyota/Scion needs instead of walking in cold somewhere else.

Thanks for the help!!!

We got our deal with Sirius and haven't had any problems.

BTW, for those with Sirius, they're running a deal right now where you can be given a free 2nd reciever. So you have your first one, then they give you a second and since it's your second, it's only $7 a month for that one.

I'd take advantage of it except we've already 5 active Sirius's on our account... two of which are ours, the other 3 to family.

I think you can find this deal at sirius.com/free

And for XM people. Word on the street is that they're swetting it right now and many times if you call them, trying to cancel, they'll lower your monthly rate, just to keep you a subscriber. If you're lucky, they'll even send you a free reciever too.
