Haha! Something that is intended to reduce congestion by eliminating the “who goes first?” factor… now if only we can figure out what kind of circular intersection it is…….

Change them all to ‘right-turn only’ and be done with it. No sense in adding exceptions and confusing it. But then again, it wouldn’t be “engineering” if they didn’t fudge up a simple idea….

Every roundabout (as opposed to traffic calming island) that I've ever seen (admittedly not many) has been very thoroughly marked with one-way signs indicating that you must go right. They were also very clearly designed as such, not merely 90-degree intersections with a big round planter plopped in the the middle.

As far as merging goes, that's one of my absolute favorites - the folks who merge at 40 and then accelerate. Where's my harpoon gun?!

Yeah. I especially enjoy the "merge" folks who get to the end of the acceleration ramp and STOP to see if anyone's coming.

Whenever I'm following someone who seems to be getting on slowly, I always leave them a much larger space, so once they finally get on the freeway, I can pick my hole and accelerate full bore to match it and slide right in.

In 45 years of driving I've been rear-ended three times - every time has been on a freeway entrance when the person in front of me slowed tremendously or stopped at the end of the ramp, and the person behind me didn't. Nothing I could do.
