Default 11/23/08 (sunday) 5th Annual Toys for Tots Car Show

It's that time of year again.... AutoX, HPDE Roval/Track & Car Show at Auto Club Speedway to benefit the 5th Annual Toys for Tots Charity Car Show. Lots of love for the scions - always!

Still looking for some sponsors - and trying to work on a dealer or garage battle where vendors sponsor their hottest client rides to rep their shop.

$25/vehicle until Oct 31st, $40 after
$5/pp spectator (insurance purposes)
No Charge for parking

Everyone is asked to bring a new unwrapped toy worth at least $10.

AutoX and Track registration is sep., and managed by SpeedVentures.com (cost to be announced).

Register Now: http://www.T4TCarShow.com

Cheers, Ted

I hear ya, but we can't do anything about lack of commitment. We open all the categories we can showing the love more than any other show for all brands (as long as you have the #s). We've also expanded to include track and autoX for those that don't like static shows.

I guess it comes down to whether or not you like a charity car show. I've rolled to plenty on my own and had a good time.

I've also forced people to get off their rears and register so that we mob the scene (as the Scions did at the 2nd annual show at Pacific Palms in Industry)

Hope to see tons of Scions there, and we'll be happy to set aside some primo space with water & free power.

Cheers, ted

what exactly do they inspect you car for when you go to the track besides your tire thread and do you have to take your own helmet or do you rent them there?

You have to bring your own helmet, sometimes they rent them out, not sure if they are at this one thou. Yes tires, they make sure you're not leaking fluids, they make sure you do not have anything inside and outside that can fly off and hit you or someone else.
