Aloha everyone....

Just wanted to put this out there to see if any of you wanted to do a huge M&G bbq/luau maybe in mid to late summer. Kirby and I talked about it a few times and I also got the idea from a thread on the SE site.

We can make it a pot luck style and with some of the major clubs bringing some of the main dishes (if possible). We can have Softball,volleyball game challenges between clubs and for all you ballers, even basket ball..haha

This event should it happen is open to all Scion enthusiast and of course all respected Scion clubs.

Please post up and tell us what you think and ideas you may have. If you all think this could happen, we can start looking for a location to have it. I personally have contacts with Anahiem parks and recreation for a huge park in Anaheim Hills with a covered picnic area and all the amenities we will need for the games...so please post up and let usn know..

I know..i think i would be awesome...we can call it Scion SoCal Unity Meet....we can even make shirts for it...=)

I don't think it's ever been done before, why not start it here in SoCal...

Don't wnat it to coinside with any of the other clubs shows and meets so if anyone can please post up the dates of the events you may have this summer, it would be great, so we can pick a date the is suitable for everybody...but this has to be quick so we can make reservations.

 

Not August 4th or 5th Lowrider Nationals in Bakersfield.

 

yeah Im really down with this one for the following reasons:

1. bring everyone together for a good time
2. get to know the people from all the different clubs
3. check out all the rides from all the clubs. stock to whatever you call it now
4. great food
5. food again. Man Im hungry now.


So to all the club presidents out there, the invite is out and all of you gotta do is come join us in a good day of bbq - potluck and hide n go seek. (maybe not that last part) No freebees or giveaways or raffles, just good ol hangin out. how bout it?

This sounds fun maybe late August sometime? August 18th, 25th or 26th seems open at this time.
