Kirby just summed it up for you. And just because people are sponsored doesn't mean they don't have to pay anything!!

All seriousness, I have 56k miles on my box. I may not drive it as much anymore because I have to keep getting stuff painted (AHEM Ross @ Midnight Garage).

Also has anyone ever though of having a street, custom, and sponsored catergory. It's hard for normal daily drivers to compete with someone that doesn't have to pay anything for thier car.
Anyone can have sponsors so it's based on the owners choice. I built my whole car before, & it was a full blown show car & I didn't have a single sponsor. & now I rebuilt it & it's all built off sponsors (I have still spent an ungodly amount, even with sponsors, & by ungodly, it's many many many thousands of dollars.) Just because a car is sponsored doesn't mean they got stuff for free. I really should update my profile so people can see what I have on the car now. The only things I got for free on my car were the tires, & my audio equipment. Everything else I paid for.

Build a proposal, send it out, & you too, can be a "sponsored" vehicle.

Ha, everyone except me. My tC is lucky if she sees the road....well, except for when I drove to SEMA.

I apologize if I offended anybody by saying they got it for free. I seen alot of very nice cars just a big difference between a plain jane and airbags, hydros and bodykit. Thank You for clarification.

I don't think you really offended people. Hardly a sponsor around I know really doing anything for free these days

I think it might be a good idea to maybe start a new post, introducing yourself and asking these same questions. This way we can be free to help you out without going to off topic of this thread.
