Default Amp leading to punctured gas tank?

Recently setting up a new 12" sub in my Scion xB 2nd gen and I decided to put my amp under the back seat on the right side. I just completed the install today but I have been smelling gas since I finished the install. We in total put 5 holes for screws underneath the seat (one of which isnt being used anymore, we found a better mounting point after) and I am worried that we may have punctured the gas tank. So my question is, would the gas tank be located in the area under the right side of the back seat and if so would the tank be right against the bottom of the frame?

And last question would be is if we did puncture the gas tank, what would be the best solution on patching the tank? Or would I even have to?

U might get a check engine light because of the evap system will detect a leak and throw a light. If u did puncture the gas tank u prolly have to get a new one depending on the material some r plastic some r metal.
