i think you were at a meet or one of your co-workers were im not sure...he had a tc too i think... anywho...yeah oscar always takes care of whatever i needa get done over there...hehhe i bought and got my sway bar installed there... one of THE BEST PURCHASE i ever made.... made a huge difference...anyway...

yeah i actually work across the street from you guys at desert volkswagen....you've probably seen me go up and down sahara

yeah a meet would be great to start...but its real hard to keep the meets clean... what i mean by that is... usually meets dont turn out as well as i hoped they would...the ones that one of my friends kinda got going (he owns a RS 2.0) was pretty good when i went that one week...everyone was talking to each other...and like no one thought they were any better than anyone else... i hate it when meets turn out like that...

i dont care how many lights...how many mods....how much crap you spent on your car...the meets are supposed to be for us to get together..and share our interests in our cars... we are afterall car enthusiasts... i hate it when people talk crap...when people dont respect one another as well as other cars that are there.. or respect the area we meet up in.... i really dont like it when people at meets call attention to themselves....kuz eventually they'll call attention from the cops not just to themselves but to the rest of us... especially when they do peel outs...bump their music wayyyyyy tooo loud.... what have you got to prove ....like seriously? no one has got to prove that they're better than anyone else... thats not what meets are about...

i meet up with people that do autox....the ***** challenge...go out to the track... and they've got cars faster than mine... s2k's, 350Z, Z's in general, and non of them think they're better than i am...i dont think im anywhere near as good as they are...but we all talk... i dont even know all the people that i talk to...but we all just talk to each other...its lots of fun and ive learned a whole lot of new things

meets are supposed to be fun....but i guess everyone's definition of fun is different...which i can understand...but there have got to be rules set so that the cops dont come...so that everyone gets along... ya know what i mean... i tried to get the tc's together at one point in time.. i dont know where that went? ive heard about other meets in other places...all that happens are fights break out...and i really dont want that to happen...i want everyone to feel welcome.... kuz as far as im concerned... (not saying anything bad about hondas or anything dont get me wrong) SOME of the scions, go the honda syndrome... when one acts up...acts stupid...thinks they're hard.... others automatically assume that everyone scion owner is just as stupid and as ignorant.... dont want that image... sorrie im babbling and venting...just my two cents on some of the car scenes here in vegas...california (back at home) ive got to say its just as bad too... so its not just here in vegas...its everywhere else... why cants we all just get along?

Just turned 20, I'm in my dorm room right now for many reasons 1)been up since 6am installing stuff on my car 2)I havn't ate anything all day except for a slice of pizza so now I'm fixing dinner. 3)my computer is here I've heard there are meets but I'm with the other person up there ^^^ I don't want to be somewhere where theres lots of hondas and other tuner cars b/c from what I've heard and can tell from my area, they just get out of hand, cops come, fights break out etc. I'd like to just go and hangout with Scion only people that actually have some common sense and respect one another. That means going places the others wouldn't go so we can have our own little spot and not cause any problems and that way the cops won't give us grief either.

well im down whenever.. so anyother scioners that know vegas well throw out some ideas for hangout spots/parking lots for us newbies..

 

no problem guys...im kinda busy lots..so if anyone can throw out ideas or what not.....but i can come up with some stuff... other locations that no one else goes to...something central to everyone...and so that we wont be bothered...

my boyfriend drives a mazda...but the mazdas welcome me even tho i dont own a mazda yet... im both a scion and mazda enthusiast.... i was getting out of the whole scion thing because of all the BS that was going on...

in the next week i will be coming up with rules.. so that nothing gets out of hand...so that everyone knows everyone...no kiddy crap rules...but something that we can all agree to... such as not acting stupid... and if anything i wont start crap with anyone...but if someone does something at a meet that gets frowned upon... ill be the one to approach them and give them a warning... just to warn anyone planning to act stupid at the meets... we're all there to have fun and enjoy ourselves with one another... no ricers none of that...no people that can ruin it for everyone else...if meets start to get out of hand...say good bye to the meets...kuz ill quit the whole scion thing...ive just about tried 2 times already...if the 3rd time doesnt work...then i say screw it...i guess it will be the curse of owning a scion...

if you notice the scion groups that do work out the best are the ones that just get together regularly...all get to know each other... and what not... have fun...

it doesnt matter on how deep you roll...or all the BS on how many people are in your group at your meet...its all about helpin each other... having fun... getting along
