Default Any cali people with boost?

Hi i was wondering if there were any people out there in cali running an s/c or a turbo? What are you guys doing about smog rules or are u just not worrying about it until u have to smog. That is my only real concern about goin to the dark side.

Im going turbo. Im probably going to use the piggy back lean it out a little. Should pass with no problems. I was able to use my AFC to lean my mr2 turbo out and pass smog with no 2nd cat.

You will be ok. First of all I am not advocate of street racing and after getting my license taking away once, I tend to follow traffic laws. Its just not worth all the money in tickets and the hastle of insurance rate increases, court dates, etc. I intend to track my car on a road course, so its not all about straight line for me. This is one of the first cars that is "legal" for me...

If you want to be legal then don't even bother trying to go FI on the xb.

If the cop is suspicious at all, they will send you to the ref and if you decide to just pay off the ticket, it is quite expensive.

As far as smog, there are many many years till you have to smog your new car so I wouldn't worry about that.
