Just curious if anybody is going to nopi? i've never been to one but have seen on tv how crazy it gets. also from what i read since its a 2 day show u can bring the car in the first day then leave that night and come back the next day.

Yes its at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Jay Jay.. that is true.. I have been to Nopi nationals with my civic and yes you can leave that night and come back the next day.

I would like to go, cuz its fun and a lot of cool things are there.

 

is it register your car or do you have to be picked to enter?

hey Jay Jay, what you need to do is worry more about Vegas and Nationals. lol. j/k. the first day of NOPI is the judging. roll in for the show is 9am and ends at 11 pm due to the activities they got planned. the second day is what drags because you basically just wanna know where you stand.

whats good with NOPI is that you can basically enter your car like in 4-6 categories. street and wild too, but in your case WILD. Not many cars participate in WILD because of the name itself, but they will put you in there regardless.

Have fun at that show, I wont be able to make it because the Government checks dont come in till that next week and I need more cheese.

yeah dude you cant miss this event, but I am. There is so much going on there, plus a tv crew (speed channel) will be there. ever heard of that show NOPI Tunervision? Yeah they will be there because its a headline city. Well worth the 65 to show. I was also hoping that Scion VIP was gonna help out like they did in Phoenix. ah well. Also this is I think only the 2nd time NOPI is coming to LA. Last time was like 2001. so be one of the few to have NOPI trophies.

 

lol i wish man.. but most likely cynce we'll be there so i don't have a chance in the wild category lol.. ohh well exposure is everything.. and wish you could be there man, would be great to see familiar faces. and yeah i've seen the shows and god they get crazy there nothing like HIN.

 

anybody know whats the lighting situation, like do we have to unplug our cars like at HIN and how much does it cost to purchase electricity? i can't find it anywhere on the site.

 

jay jay, its on the Home Depot Center parking lot. so Im sure no batteries will need to get unpluged.

 

thats what i'm hoping but even at HIN nightshift's outside events we still needed to unplug our batteries. Well i emailed them hopefully i get an answer back.
