Default ATTN: San Diego Crew v. spring install

is there anyone available tomorrow [sunday] at around 10am that can supervise me and a buddy install some tein s-tech springs? i'd like someone with experience with spring installations on scions. my friend that is helping me has installed several springs before, but never on a scion.

i could buy you lunch or some beer while we do it, whatever it will take for anyone to come down and help. usually my buddy goes to get pho for his mom on mother's day so maybe whoever helps out can come, too :p

thanks a lot guys

well. alot of people were probably busy at TORC i would assume and then probably were tired afterwards. spring install on the xB is pretty straight foward. especially if your buddy has done a spring install before.

tC's on the other hand.. that's a different story.

cool thanks! something a regular "shade-tree mechanic" can handle? I did the springs on my RSX S. When I did the springs on the RSX, i had to use the fork thingy (sorry forgot what it's called) to open the arms (sorry, real genius here, dont remember what they're called). Inbetween the arm, there is a little rubber boot that holds the grease and I ripped it. I just filled it up with grease and put it back on b/c the dealer said they didnt have any new ones. Do you know of anyone having problems ripping the little boot thingy? thanks for yoour help!

yea, there are stories of people ripping boots, I believe the solution is to support the thing instead of letting it hang down.
