Default Autocross

I was just wondering if anyone in this region takes their car to auto-x ever. I have been debating on which route to take to upgrade the car and finally decided on the autocross setup. Any advice would be appriciated, and thanks in advance.

I think there are a couple of people on this forum that autoX. Im one of the n00bs that are addicted as well. I think the first thing you need to do is get rid of the stock tires. Pretty much anything is better than stock. ^_^ I think its prolly better to try one mod at a time. Then you see if it makes a difference or not. You may be overspending when you buy all your mods at once and later you find out you didnt need some parts. Good Luck!

first thing: www.solo2.com

go to an event when you are fully stock, dont start modding until you know WHAT you have to mod.

i have been to alot of events, and alot of drivers come in with cars that are fully equipped with all the bolt on goodies you could ever have, but they do horrible because they do no know how to drive the car.

i would try learning first, see where it needs to be modified, talk to some of the enthusiasts(which is what your basically doing right now), and learn a little.

it will be time and money well spent.

+1 for keepin it on the track
