I know of a couple people that still get busted for it, but I don't know much more than that. I think having the plate on the front looks tacky anyway, unless you have something expensive like an Evo.

In the Dirty South, the mandatory use of turn signals is basically seen as an invasion of privacy. Its just nobody's business where we're a goin' or what we're gonna do! That, plus a gun rack, keeps other drivers alert and safety conscience!

In SoCal, everyones turnsignals seem to be broken...either they are always on, or they never work....It's very strange, I think it has to do with the weather.

...or to remind you that they turned two miles ago.

the strange thing is, it seems like it's always a POS that has them stuck on, and brand new $50k cars (Benz, H2...) that they don't work.

Yeah, makes sense, actually. The POSmobile probably has its lever bent or jammed, or somehow has its 'cancel mechanism' screwed up, while the luxomobile driver figures it's not HIS job to tell you what he's doing - you peons can figure that out by yourselves (and-don't-bother-me-I'm-on-the-phone)...

As long as they are not obstructing the driver's view, they are OK.

I think the fine can be as much as $132 for the first offense. I presume from your screen name that you work in ADR & Sound Design?

Can I get these or is it illegal...

They would look so good, I know so little about the laws of CA.

And I wanted to clear corner the back, but I guess I can't do that. I don't mind to go with red... but I wanted white.

I have those on the front, and haven't had any problems.
I think it would be hard to pull off on the back though, because it would just seem really out of place. It's not so noticeable on the front because our headlights are already clear.

Cops aren't really looking for people with clear sidemarkers to ticket; they have bigger jobs to do. Plus, I don't think they remember every single law there is in th state. It's such a small modification.

Now if you're speeding or something, then you might have a problem.

Just drive safe!

^^^Yeah, you might get away with stuff for a long time, but if you get pulled over, they can really phuc you with some stuff. ie. you might not get pulled over for exhaust, front tint, or no front plate, but if you get pulled over for speeding you;ll prolly get the ticket for all 4 things.

Yeah, that's why we all just gotta drive safe, and not attract any more attention than we need lol.

Once you get pulled over for something, they'll get you on everything else.
