do you ever call the employer back? sometimes you really need to bug the manager and make them know that you want the job and it will make you stand out from the crowd.
deliver pizza. thats what i do. they are always hiring.

monster worked for me when i was looking for a job. I applied for like 10 jobs and almost everyone got back to me. I took the first job that called me and felt bad when i had to let everyone else down.
Good luck on trying to find a job. And like someone else here, remember to always call the place you sent your application to and ask if they have reviewed your application and wanted to see if you can get an interview with the manager. If you show them that you are really interested in getting hired, they will hire you.

if yuo really need a job 2 get u by right now apply @ target or wal mart. they always hire cuz they have a high turn over rate. plus the holiday season is coming up.
than if u get hired just look 4 a better paying job while ur working.
but i only suggest doing that if ur really desperate 4 $

im looking for a job too right now. the best place is through an agency. just go interview there and take the assessments. then they'll email you about jobs. some are just one day things...like i got offered to be part of the audience for americas funniest home videos for a day....you can laugh at idiots and make some money! but im not as desperate cuz i have a job now. im just bored. but i really suggest temp agencies. thats how the majority of the people i work with got hired.
Monster (or Dice, etc.) is your best bet. It took me about a month and a half from when I put my resume up to when I hung things up in my workspace, and I was still getting calls for weeks after that.
Do not do not do not do not get a job at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Target. There's a reason they have such a high turnover rate.

no you go and fill out an application and they see what kind od skills you have and then search for you and when they find a suitiable job, then they'll call you saying that they have an opening for so and so place. you go and fill out more papers and they tell you ok show up at this place at this time and good luck.
I'm not sure if you're in college or not, but most campuses have a career center that will aid in you finding a job and have a lot of job posting.
There's also a site call monstertrak , which is more for student looking for part time or entry level job. I got a nice entry level job on that site while I was in college and it's work great after i grad.
If you're not in college or don't care about any job you can get, you can always work at Spilo Worldwide in LA. It's a 9 dollar an hour job, not a lot of responsibly, just pack item (beauty supply) for shipping in a warehouse enviroment. They pretty much hire anybody, just walk in and fill out an application. It's mindless labor work to make extra money but definitely not something you want to make a career out of.
