FINAL DAY: '08 TOYOTA GRAND PRIX PIX !!! 4BROADBANDZ !!!
HEY SCION LIFE FOLKS !!! Sunday April 20, 2008 marked the FINAL DAY of the TOYOTA GRAND PRIX in LONG BEACH, SO CAL !!!
After attending the SCION VIP event at the FORMULA DRIFT at the same location a week prior ...

This was an event also NOT TO HAVE MISSED !!!
MANY MANY THANKS TO TOYOTA CORPORATION, FORMULA DRIFT, AND THE COUNTLESS SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS OF THIS YEAR'S TOYOTA GRAND PRIX FOR ANOTHER EXCITING AND INSPIRING YEAR !!!Here are my pix taken that Sunday afternoon April 20, 2008 !!!
Waking up that morning recovering from the AWESOME BALLIZTIK & POWER SCION OF IRVINE SHOW the previous night, I decided to go onto Craigslist (Always be careful of scammers there folks !!!) and find some TOYOTA GRAND PRIX TICKETS !!! With the final day admission of $52, I couldn't pass the opportunity for these discounted tix !!!
Heading into Long Beach that morning, already TRAFFIC !!!
Parking pricing ranged anywhere from $10-$20 !!!
So ...

This show wasn't cheap !!! Thanks Craigslist Person for your sale !!!
Darren getting searched ...
Upon entering ... a great WELCOMING BANNER !!!
DANGEROUS BOOTH !!! (ALWAYS DRINK RESPONSIBLY FOLKS !!!)
Sounding like a swarm of bees, the race was ALREADY UNDERWAY !!!
The Crowds ...
(These racecars were definitely TOO FAST for me to take pix !!!
Before continuing the show, it was time to head to the ...
Before entering however we ran into ... BUBBA GUMP !!!

Heading inside the Lifestyle Expo we saw some great folks and rides ...
Then it was time to head back outside to see the outdoor ATTRACTIONS & VENDORS !!!

AND MARIACHI !!! Darren's latest GIG is with these guys !!!
Then it was time to head to SHORELINE VILLAGE !!!

Next thing ya know we were in line !!!

Afterwards it was time to head back to the Grand Prix !!!
We saw these AWESOME RIDES ... Hmmm I wonder what these were used for ...

Before the 1st Race was finished, the Formula Drift Racers were getting ready to make their appearance on the track !!!
No kidding, they were gone in 60 seconds ...
While they were getting ready it was time to check out the HIGH END RIDES out front ...
Then the sound of tires SCREECHING came around !!!
DRIFTING !!!
WHERE'S DORI-KIN ??!!
After the Drifting presentation they all came back !!
And look who we ran into !!! Gary aka NISH DESIGNS himself !!!
NO HB POST IS COMPLETE WITHOUT A DEDICATION !!!
