Default Fog light covers

Good evening all,

Newb here to the scionlife forums. My car was hit recently on the freeway by some miscellaneous debris and I lost the right side fog light cover. (apart from a small tear in the bumper also....pi$$ed me off) MY car is an 05 xb blue onyx pearl. anyone? anyone?
does this piece just snap in or is there a screw/nut/bolt/anything holding it in place.

Also, I have lost the small grill piece on the far bottom left side as well. My car is falling apart. Help Help...I'm so sad.

thanks all.

Yeah--that little grill piece falls off a lot of cars. Maybe you can find someone who has taken off the fog light covers to put on the lights.

Hey 06,

you lucked out. the dealership that i dealt with had absolutely no clue how to get a hold of the parts and even took it a step further and guesstimated a $200 price tag on EACH of the missing pieces. UNPAINTED...

bunch of retards over there. I'll post on Craigs also.

nyte_ check your pm.

thanks again all.

hmmm...interesting. I would assume that if a car starts littering its own parts on the road that the manufacturer should step up and replace that part. does anyone have more info about the legal obligation?

Personally, if a part fell of my new Scion and the dealer acted like they didn't know where to get the parts i'd be calling Scion Corporate . . . If that didn't work i'd be contacting a lawyer for sure.

You might want to try another dealer. If they can't help you i'd call Scion (after you tell us of course . . . things like this we need to know as that would heavily concern us).

O yeah, forgot to add:

Also if the new dealer DOES get you fixed up as they should . . . i'd still call Scion and complain about the dealer that wouldn't help. That's the sort of thing that gets a dealership in trouble with the main company.
