Yup We were going down the 5 in Commerce on our way to look for some Wedding Rings YAYYYYY. So im doing the speed limit and what do you know i got CHP pacing me for a few miles and pulls me over for “Modified Emissions.”. And you know what he told us, there are 17 things he saw on OUR SCION XB that makes our car look like a street racing car. So i Laughed in his face and i said name them. He tells me that by law he did not have to tell me what they were and that When i go to see the State Reff they will see Whats Illegal. ____in *****.

So now i have a question. He never put that Pretty Little white sticker that goes on the back of the ticket that states, TO SEE A STATE REF AND THE VEHICLE CAN NOT BE OPERATED UNTIL ITS FIXED. So do i need to treat this as a State Ref Ticket or a Fix-it Ticket.

Muffler LOL. But the solar yellow comes with a Dc Sports Muffler. I think he got a little upset about the sticker on the back window.

Yup it does and no they can not. it's on the sticker when you read to see what comes with the Vehicle. I showed the the judge the first time i got a state ref and he dismissed the case. I ended up paying $10.00 instead of $366.00

 

I ____IN Love that sticker. LOL I had it made cause we get pulled over all the time.

I live in fear of CHP. I just got 3 fix its yesterday 1 block from my work. Then again I drive a track car on the street.


However....I was speeding on the 91 leaving the south bay...CHP crept up....gave me a peace sign..then blew past me. *scared the ba-jesus out of me*
I live in fear of driving anywhere inland for a state ref.


HOWEVER there is a way to get out of it.... its a hassle but then again making your car stock-then remodding it is a hassle as well.

If you have a girlfriend, family member, etc someone worth trusting. Sign the vehicle over to them (sell it but not really). Write a lower bill of sale etc so taxes willbe low.....etc. Go to court and say the vehicle was sold. They'll drop the ticket. Then reverse the process...boom bada bing. Done
