Default Got a Ticket? Have a Question

So a while ago I got a front plate/tint ticket, i extended it forevs, and now its time to go to court. I sold the vehicle to someone out of state and they drove it back. I didn't get the ticket signed off since I didn't think it mattered as long as I sold the car. Am I in the clear?

I'll be bringing the bill of sale, and release/transfer of liability to court.

Anything else I need?

Should just be $20 for the two fix it fines correct?

Thanks

hmm before i got rid of my honda i got a ticket for tint and since i had a for sale sign the cop who gave me the ticket told me to get the ticket cleared first before selling the car because i needed to bring the car with me to court and show them that i fixed it. BUT i think what you could do is pay for full amount that isn't the price for the fix it ticket and move on so i doubt you'll pay the $20/25 for it.

Chris, the fix-it fee is now $25 PER VIOLATION. So you could have 3 violations on ONE TICKET, and it'll be $75. Chitty, isn't it?..
