Default Help with zpi turbo install?

Hey everybody. I really want to go turbo within the next couple weeks but I don't have the kind of money that a shop would want for install and I don't think I can do it myself. I was hoping someone near me who has done it before could help me out for not as much money. So pm me or just post here and name your price. I will be there helping the whole time but the most I've ever done is an injen CAI install. I am located in pomona/claremont area (CA) and it is a zpi stage 0. Thanks so much in advance.

I'm not boosted, but I can give a little advice.

If you don't have the money for an installation charge, then perhaps you don't have the money to go turbo (yet). Would you have enough money to pay for an unexpected problem if you went boosted?

Don't have the money is a relative term I guess. I appreciate the concern but what I should have said is I don't want to spend the money. I thought it would be a lot cooler if I could do it myself with some help of a fellow sl member. Plus I don't even know of a shop around me I would trust. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I would man, i would really like to go see CA sometime, but my work wont let me have another week off.

Im already taking a week off in Feb to go up to ZPI's shop for them to install everything in my sig. Good luck thou, there should be enough people on these boards that live near you and can give a helping hand.

Well... not most of us (yet ). Call 818.887.4425 and ask for Rick. It's going to be a bit of a drive, but it'll be worth it if you want it done right.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/C...074AE45996.htm - the evo

hes gonna do work on my car whenever i stop being cheap and pay for the t88/ems/fuel upgrades for my car.

the work speaks for itself. just out of curiosity what setup are you planning on running specifically?

Thanks guys. When the time comes I will pm you if I need you. A couple guys pmed me about just coming down having a couple beers and watching so if you want to do that with no pressure to help then it's cool. I'm going to get the zpi stage 0 turbo and also whatever guages they recomend along with an upgraded zpi clutch which I'll have installed later.
