Default Honda meets

i was on honda-tech and i came across some interesting socal meets.

Eibach meet on 5/7/06
http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1525194

Super Autobacs met on 4/8/06
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1449219

Honda tech rolls deeeeeeeeeep.

I'm not suggesting Scion owners band together and crash these meets, but its nice to checkout other cars.

Every now and then i attend large honda, vw, and 240sx meets (being a former owner of each).

Anyone know of any good/large meets going on?

there were idiots there street racing, which brought in the cops.
the guy who was towed was allegedly racing. when the cops popped his hood, they saw an illegal motor swap (and a turbo?). the cop told the owner the car could not be driven home, so the owner chose to have it towed back home rather than the cops taking it away right there.

just to let you guys know the Eibach meet is by far the best meet ever. last year, all makes and models were allowed inside the parking lot, but this year only HONDAs are allowed inside this year. Everyone is still welcome to come, but those who are not coming in hondas must park outside.

in regards to the guy that got his car towed at Eibach, he was not accused of racing, there were idiot ricers that were racing up and down the outer street from Eibach, but the reason why he got pulled over was because his car was really loud, he was running open downpipe.

My friend is the one who organized the April 8 meet @ Super Autobacs, that meet will be a really good sized meet. i'm rollin' to that meet of course, so maybe i'll see some of you SL people there.

and yea..Honda-Tech does roll deep.

some pics from last year's Eibach Meet:

^my homie Arnell's SLAMMED EP ^

^rollin' inside^

^the line to get inside...gates were suppose to open at 12, honda-tech caravans from all over so cal got there before 11am. the 818 caravan i rolled with got there at 10am.

hahahahha...you won't get the evil eye. only if your car is "ricey" and you do stupid sh*t to bring unnecessary attention then yea the evil eye will be in presence. but besides that the honda-tech people that i have met are real cool people, they became 2nd family to me.

i was going to take my xB if it is fixed by then, but i highly doubt it, so i'm taking my 240 [/quote]

Default Honda Meets

We had a booth at the Honda-Tech show and it was just insane last year. The people that got tickets or got in trouble in anyway are ones that where messing around. I know this year they are **** ONLY **** Allowing Hondas in this year. In the post it says that some honda-tech members where unable to get in last year so this year they are only allowing hondas into that particular event. The other events they are normally open to all makes. Honda-Tech has really nice people usually no beef or bashing one another and always open to meet new people at meets.

This sunday (5/7) is the Eibach meet.
Since theyre only letting Hondas in the parking lot this year, I was considering putting on Honda badges on my tC and say its a Civic with a conversion. lol.

just park outside. no biggie. if i were to take my xB i wouldnt mind parking it outside, but since im rollin' in the yellow DC2 i get to be inside

as of right now...there are over 300 cars listed for attendance to this meet, but it is expected that more will show up than listed due to the fact of people deciding to go last minute. the caravan that i will be with is leaving Eagle Rock at 7:30am. all the caravans that i know of are all rollin' before 8am! Bay Area people are leaving Saturday morning. this meet is going to be huge!

I went. It was actually really cool. I think they said they had over 500 cars. Some of which came from Texas, Canada and NorCal. I grew up on Honda's so it was like re-visiting my first love. Eibach was also cool. They have some great people working there and put on a clean, fun, safe event. Major props from me.

Well, it really died down like around 2:00, then it started to suck. I didn't like how the "honda" people were like all stuck up and s***. All those hondas looked the same. But, since I enter the industry with Hondas, I liked how all those HOndas were clean.
