Hello fellow west coasters, I plan to go head out west to watch and cheer lead for "GReddy @ Buttonwillow Raceway . I plan to go out July 22nd-24th, but I would like someone that is familiar with the area and know recommended Hotels, places to eat. (Any burger joints besides mcdonalds/BK etc)...

you should hit up my buddy "Road Warrior" aka Thomas on here. He's an excellent tour guide in Bakersfield. He'll tell you what's bad and good in the area. Have fun man!

Hello,

There is a couple of hotels in the small town of Buttonwillow. I know that one is a Motel 6. there is of course your fast food type restaurants there and there are a couple of sit down restaurants. Bakersfield would be a good place to stay, but it is about a 30 - 45 minute drive to Buttonwillow Raceway.

If I am in town that weekend, I would love to go out to the track, depends on ticket price though, lol. Maybe that Saturday night, I can get some of the local scion club members to meet up at In & Out here close to my house and we can have a good time out. The In & Out close to my house is the hangout for just about everything out there on a Saturday night. It is usually the place that the racers hangout at before heading out to race. It is usually a fun time and the police don't bother us Scions very much.

So let me know where you end of staying. If you need any help with finding out info or whatever, let me know. My e-mail address is: thomas.mckie@gmail.com
