As for what is there to do here... pick something.
We have the beach, the mountains and the desert all within an hour or so from anywhere in SD.
We have the Zoo, The Wild Animal Park and Sea World. As well as Lego Land.
We have a bunch of shopping locations.
There's a ton of lakes to go fishing, charter boats and plenty of beach front fishing.
There's Mexico but stay away from there for now (they're having issues).
We have a kick ___ Museum. Tuesdays are free days (not all but some) and there's stuff from cars, planes, trains, man, art, space, science, photography, botanical and special events.
We have a few car clubs to check out. Scionevolution(Chula Vista), Revoluscion(Claremont) and Alphasquad(Escondido).
We have an awesome night life if you like clubbing. PB, Downtown and Hillcrest (depending on your flavour).
Pick something... we have it all here.

Welcome to Ca Man! Me and my wife just moved out here from Chicago 5 mouths ago. PM me sometime. ( i bet you need a body shop to fix your rear bumper? let me guess .... the mold is cracking. lol) The car used to belong to a old Scion Evolution Chicago/ Team Solo member. I know the car very well.

Thats a lot to look into. But as for the body shop. I lowered the car and took dive in the front and cracked it. Blows plus the gravel messed up the side skirts. Yeah i talk to alex.lol small world.
