SCION NIGHT 2007

Deviant's Choice Awards


PRIZES:

1ST Place = Vehicle featured on a South California Scion Billboard + $500 American Express Gift Card.

2nd Place = $400 American Express Gift Card.

3rd Place = $300 American Express Gift Card.

RULES:

For the car club category, each Southern CA Scion Club will pick two (2) of their best Scions to represent their club at Scion Night. *Only local chapter Scion exclusive clubs with a minimum of 15 members are eligible.

For non-car club participants an independent category for two (2) local* finalists will be available. Finalists will be chosen by Scion.

All entries must be submitted before October 18.

Each entry will be displayed at the East lot in the Festival area of Scion Night 2007

Selected car show entry time begins at 9am, car show set up gates close at noon.

The winners will be announced at Scion Night.

Each Scion driver entering the East lot will receive a ballot to vote for their favorite entry.

Voting will take place from 2-6:30 pm during the Scion Night event.

The winner will be announced at Scion Night in Calico Square approximately at 8:15pm. A representative from the finalists will be asked to be present on stage along with the winners. Awards will be presented to the winners on stage.

HOW TO ENTER:

· Each club president & independent submissions will submit their entries via email to the LA Region Scion Manager by 9:00am on 10/18/07. spencer_illingworth@scion.com



· Each entry must be submitted with one picture of the Scion entry along with both the Scion owner and the club president contact information.



*Local refers to the Toyota LA Region market area made up of all counties between and including San Luis Obispo, Kern, and Inyo south to the Mexico border and east of the Pacific Ocean to the Arizona/Nevada border.

I know this might have been asked but please excuse my stupidity. Where it says "free entrance to first 2000 Scions", you are talking about admission into the actual Knott's Scary Farm correct? Just want to clear this up. Once again, sorry for the stupid question.

 

FLEA- They're letting in the first 2000 cars (General Admission to Knotts Scary Farm) which is the driver plus 4 passengers. Any people that arrive after that need to pay to gain entry, until the park reaches capacity. This is what my regional rep told me...just passin it on! =)

XBBOY should edit the first post, add the flyer and add all info. Clear up the 4 tickets TOTAL! issue.. that is the DRIVER INCLUDED!

Only other thing that seems a little left out that some may be wondering is first 2000 "CARS" regardless of how many people take advantage of the passengers or 2000 "TICKETS" so say if everyone has a car of 4 that would equal the first 500 "CARS". Flyer says 2000 CARS but im sure many are still wondering same thing.

 

it IS the first 2000 cars. so that's 8000 tix total for scion owners

 

www.scion.com/scaryfarm says they give up to 5 tickets per car (anyone wearing a seat belt)...so i guess knott's/scion is ready to give up 10000 tix if they have to!

As for now it is the first 2000 cars (maximum of 4 people including driver) who go through he gates are those who will get the free admission tickets to knott's..

 

I for one am looking forward to this. I might not have a lot of stuff going on with my car. But I am looking forward to getting some new ideas for my tC.

 

That's the right idea and great attitude man..really appreicate it...we all started stock and this event that Scion is putting together is not all about the cars, it's abput the people that own them..=) see you there..Peace

 

I just hope that I don't get the "I got mods and I'm too good for you attitude". Hate to say it but that's why I don't really go to the OC meets anymore.

 

No worries man..not everyone is like that..most Scion peeps are pretty humble..Peace

 

There are more cool people than not, you'll have a blast. All this huff about the show, I'm just glad to be getting into Knott's for FREE and saving myself 50 bucks.

***Plus just a heads up to all the teams participating in the contest, you are resonsible for creating your own displays for your team cars. I believe you have a space of 10x20 if I'm not mistaken to use in you contest display. ***
