My xA is just getting some body-work finished today after my "LA handshake" a couple of weeks ago. I've very excited to pick her up!

Plans for mine?

Ive since tinted and done some random interior stuff (lighting, GPS, Scanguage...) I think Vent Visors are in the very near future as well as finally getting security/RKE installed.

Then SR intake or suspension, but I can't decided on what suspension set-up to go with. I was set on H-techs, but the Eibach Pro-kit sounds pretty good. Or do I just wait (and ride high) for some middle-of-the-road coil-overs? I can't seem to make a decision.

I can't seem to find a set of rims that really turn me on... So they will probably wait for a while. I think I'll ditch the wheel-covers from some trim-rings and mini-moons though.

what tint do you have in the back? That looks nice.

 

20% from the B-pillar back, and 35% on the front windows. It looks a bit darker in the pictures...

I went to "Solar Eclipse" in Woodland hills, and they did a great job for a great price, but it was tough to pick which film I wanted! They have 2 dozen different films arranged against one wall and the guy was like, "which do you want?" But I'm very happy with the results.

 

I say go coils.. I have TEIN and I am happy with them..

I got them for the same reason that I could lift the car and drop it at anytime but I never raise it.. I guess I never knew I was that lazy.. ha ha ha

 

What is involved in adjusting the ride-hight on the coil-overs?

 

jacking up the car and adjusting the coils like you would a lug nut on a screw (that would be the easiest way to describe it)

looks good, my only comment would be to either lower it, or get higer profile tires, to fill that gap a lil bit.

What kind of mileage are the LxA drivers getting around town?

I'm still pretty unhappy with my average of 24MPG on my commute, which is 7 miles on surface streets that takes about 35 minutes, and this is driving very conservatively.

Highway cruising gets me about 29MPG w/ and average speed of 80MPH.
