well said Nilo, it was awesome to see the lakers pull through as a team and win the championship but just watching what the idiots did outside the stadium was rediculous and show how bad our damn city is. heck even if we would of lost i bet they still would of acted as dumb as they did tonight if not maybe worst and it was horrible to see them just start jumping people out of no where but looking at the way they where dressed with the baggy shorts and high socks you would tell it was all gangsters looking to find an oppurtunity to just beat someone for their enjoyment. to be honest i would hope that there is no laker parade because 1 was enough but twice is pushing it, yeah the players and coaches deserve it for their hard work but the fans just killed it and i pretty much just shut the tv off after watching like 2-3 mins of the choas that was going on. heck even out here in san fernando valley people where acting dumb like on tv but it just goes to show that they aren't mature and can't celebrate without raising hell.

Well Lakers Fans, now is your time...Your team deserved it last night. I was on the edge of my seat the whole night....what a defensive struggle, what a game. The Celtics couldnt sustain their defense for 48 minutes and not getting enough rebounds killed them. Hats off to the Lakers because they did what they needed to do. Im still happy for my team, a that was supposed to lose in the first round and was doubted by everyone. Im going to greet the team when they touch down in Boston today to show my appreciation.

Watching those idiots destroy the city was awful, cabs on fire and beating people up. The sad truth is that it wouldve happened here in Boston and any other major city with a huge fanbase...

Anyways, Congrats to L.A.

p.s. i hope the Celtics keep enough of the "old guys" on the roster so we can try again next year

and boston, still a very nice team.. I would agree keeping most of their main players. they were very close to getting this and they might take it next time around..

 

Next time around may be harder. Ray Allen's contract is up, Nate's is as well. BUT, Dirk, Dwayne, and a few other highend players are free agents and currently shopping. I hope they get another big name there, but the Lakers have their eyes on Bosh so the Lakers will actually be better next year. As for Artest, I think he's only signed for 1 yr with the team, but I'm sure after this year he will be back too. Congrats Ron Ron AND he iced the game too.

The game was really slow, but the Hollywood drama did play itself out. I almost threw my remote at the tv. hahahahaha.

 

AMAZING game. I was about to pee in my pants in the 4th quarter & I honestly thought the game was gonna be over with the Celtics having a 13 pt lead so quickly. They were on FIRE at the beginning. & man o man, the Lakers need to work on those damn free throws, what the hell was going on!?? Gasol missing 2 in a row is unheard of! Bottom line! Lakers played hard as hell in the 4th & once again pulled through. LOVE THOSE BOYS! & damn, now I need to buy a 2010 CHAMPIONS flag for my car next year. I figured if they were gonna lose I could recycle the flag next season, but hey, I can dish out another $12.99 next year to put more rings on those boys fingers, lol.

As for the rioters, everyone knows darn well it would've happened in ANY city. It was a major improvement from last year. This year was only 12 arrests, 1 injured cop, & 1 car fire. Hopefully nothing happens at th parade - I'm taking the day off to celebrate.

You're right, not as bad as last year. That was pretty bad. I stayed my happy Oriental behind at home just in case. LOL.

 

Yeah, first off, I don't understand the purpose of CELEBRATION RIOTS (I wonder how much worse it would've been if they lost). Secondly, how the hell do these people have the cajones to pull stunts like that and harm people AND property when they're SO aware of all the cops around? Do they think they won't get spotted?

Also, Kirby, hopefully the guys safe, at least he was dragged out and THEN the car was set on fire, could've been worse (setting it on fire WHILE he was in there).

Thankfully, I decided to watch the game at a sports bar & grill 5 mins away from my house. I high fived, hugged & got thrown around by strangers, celebrated for 10 mins & then went straight home & stayed off the streets.

I have no clue what happend to them in 2010 man. there lineup to me was impressive, but since they're all new they need to develop as a team, but since they are one of the top 3 teams with the highest salary cap, Bron can go and make them all better like Kobe did with the Lakers. Like my HS Summer Leage coach use told us "I dont care what your personal stats are on paper, but if you cant play all together you all suck individually". HAHAHA

 

Not everyone is a Laker fan. Its okay to cheer for another team bro. If everyone like the same team, then this thread would be more dead than Michael Jackson. Constructive debate was the only thing ever posted on here on the match up of both teams.

So...............why do the Celtics suck again? I want to hear people's breakdowns on why they do. Or is it the city of Boston sucks. Boston belive it or not is a beautiful city.
