You could do your whole car but I know from the "open Garages" that they don't want people to hog them. They want everyone to get a hands on experience.

Well, I'll sign up today. Thanks for the heads up.

Its not dented, but it has noticable sratches, I think permanent water spots or something...and I even think the paint is fading....I think....and I hope not
I really do hope that more people sign up for this class. IT'S FREE! Free use of the best products, etc. Only 3 people have signed up, if more don't sign up then there more than likely won't be a class.
Bump for more people to sign up. I REALLY do hope that more people do sign up. Keep in mind that you can't just show up if you don't reply as being there on Meguiar's forum. If you are being steered away from going to this because you don't want to pay $30 to attend (non-Meguiar's members), just sign up on their site, reply to the thread (basically get in for free), and don't worry about having to use their forums again.
Ok guys and gals, I won't be able to show up because I have a bachlor party over in San Diego/Chula Vista. On top of that, this is the same day that Scion Community is having a "scion unity BBQ" over in the OC.
If this detailing event is during the morning, I can go. If its after 2pm, I won't be able to go.
So to all the owners who are going, Have fun.

that sucks...only 3 Ppl? Can ppl with cars other than Scion can go? The thing is that that Scion Unity BBQ is on that day and basicly everyone frm SoCal and other places are going to be there. Unless we can sway the SoCal Community to come to this detail event as a day to be together the whole day, that would be nice.
Sorry if I confused anyone with what I just said. hehe. I've been known to make no sense, ahahaha.

Yeah that really sucks, I was really looking forward to this.
My guess is that if the class were to continue as scheduled, I have this weird feeling that a bunch of people would have shown up, but in reality only 3 people have really signed up.

I still didn't get my forum sign up approved for the maguiar's forum. My request for a forum profile hasn't been approved since Saturday. I wonder if there are others who just can't sign up because they can't post on the forum?
I may have to just crash one of the other classes, Audi on 25th maybe.

I think Meguiar's dropped the ball on this one
Just got back from the Meguiar's Detailing class. The class is well worth it just for the information (and debunking misinformation) about the detail process. The instructor, Mike Phillips, was great. He answered every question no matter how trivial or weird they were. He also wasn't a shill for the compay, he didn't try to sell us every Meguiar product, he showed us the basic needs of restoring paint. I only wish there were a bit more Scion's there, the Audi's that were there were really nice, I felt out of place. Oh, we also got free samples of wheel polish and Ultimate Quick Detailer.
If Scionlife.com ever reschedules their class date, it will be well worth the time to attend.
