Default Moving to Vegas! Hope this is the right place to post?

What's up guys? I just found out that I have orders to Las Vegas, and am trying to figure out what the scene is like out there. Are there many boxes, clubs, events, is there a wide availability of parts? I realize I could get a lot of this info by sifting through the threads, but I have too much homework, and might as well consolodate the info (sorry mods). Thanks all, and hope to make new friends soon.

Thanks for the info guys, sounds like there's a lot of scion stuff happening, and is'nt SEMA there too? As far as the heat, Florida is pleanty hot right now, so the lower humidity will be a treat.

there is hardly a "scene" out here. the cars in vegas in general are average at best, but there are a couple here and there that actually look decent. sema is an industry only show although you can look at the cars in the outdoor lot area. i have found that its better to just order parts online.

Oh well, I geuss it's the same as here. It seems like the only good scenes are in Cali, Miami, and other big cities. At least SoCal is close, and CSI LV is there?

Well, the Air Force only allows me to do so much college at once, but I do need my degree.

Ah, I see. Well I have a long time before I can even have the luxury of worrying about that. But good luck to you, and hats off for getting it so early in life. :D
