Man! When will it be safe to clean our cars? I just got my xB2 two weeks ago and it's bothering me that it's so dirty from the ash from the fires. I know if I clean it tomorrow it'll just get ashy and dirty again the next day (or a few minutes after haha). Oh well, I'm thankful that most of my family, friends, and new Scion are safe!

 

It's gonna be a while... even when the fires are done burning (in a week or so) it'll be a few more days before all the ash is done falling out of the atmosphere.

 

i have a lot of what it look like burn marks like if some one lit a match and dropped it on my hood..but all over my car. but it just wipes away like ash... my cars filthy too..i usually wash it on sundays

 

give it a week or so then you can clean your car

 

I would just wash it anyway even if its gonna get dirty again. You don't want the dust and ash to settle on your paint. Just invest in a car duster, if you havent already.

 

Wash it now.

Great.. and knowing the paint is on the cheaper end thats even better! [/sarcasm] Can't wash the whole thing till Monday-ish since I got a clear bra installed Friday.
