I'm looking for a good place to get my springs/shocks/struts/camber kit installed for a good price here in SD. Right now, i'm being charged for 120 (good price?) from a neighborhood mechanic for my springs/shocks/struts/camber kit installation. Also, I wanna know where is a good place to get an alignment and how much they go for. My friend who also has a tC got his alignment at sears (I think) and they charged him a lot more just for an alignment because his tC is modified.

Dude I wouldn't think there would be any shortage of places in southern cali

 

120 IMO isnt a bad price at all. the install isnt hard but it is time consuming. try a toyota dealership for alignment i know on the east coast they are running a special 49.95 for a shakedown alignment.

haha yawp southwestern college. u got that black tC with eye lids, colored rims? dropped on s techs or hotchkis im guessing? lol

 

yuh. but i changed a lotta things since then. i replaced tha black lids with cf eyelids, and a cf front lip. my cf hood should be coming shortly. i changed out my rims.. i painted them temporarily for fun hah. and yeah im dropped on s-techs but will soon be on tein ss-p coilovers. wo0t.

hahaha yeah. mine was installed at Enginuity on highland ave. I got it installed for free because im teammates with an employee there. TEAM BLUR REPRESENTIN' =] but they charge 80 flat for spring installations and they do a very good job. They finished mine in 30 mins. haha.. they're quick.

Are you automatic? before this car, i had an rsx-s but i decided to move out and get an apartment so I sold that and got an automatic tC since it was an affordable car AND i got tired of shifting through downtown (I work at wells fargo in downtown).. but im basically trying to make it look nice now that I have extra money.

haha yeah I got an automatic also but I regret it a lot. I wanted a GTS (my dream car) but I decided to get the tC since I didnt see it as much on the streets that time and that it should be a celica and a lexus put together lol. And I was like what the hell I need a car ill take the automatic.

rsx-s is a nice car too haha I rode on my friends 06 type s and its pretty nice.

with my s-techs, the tC rakes forward due to the front being dropped more than the rear.
