Default need help installing eclipse avn 2454

just picked up this navigation unit last night. I need help installing it. maybe some one can help me? how much would it cost for installation? any help?

that's the1st thing I did lol. sent coi a pm. cus the don't open till 11. but some guy from socal tc club might help me I I have time. he has the same unit as me and did it himself. he said its easy.

i was looking to getting an eclipse unit. i heard it was pnp. is it not?

install is soooo! easy! yes it pnp.all you do is ground 1 wire. greenwire backup, forgot where it goes. then you splice in the purple wire to the ecu. I didn't do it so don't rememmer. the hardest part is trying to put the brackets in so the radio door will close. you have to play with it.

thats what i thought. thanks.

exm, dont pay for a shop to do this, its like throwing your money away. its plug and play with the stock harness. just override the safety feature by grounding a wire and your done

I didn't pay lol. my friend dave has the same hu on his tc. he did the work himself so he offered to do mine for lunch. I gave him 30 bucks for lunch which is goood. its been on my car for a month and a half. problem is I lost my aux input. any one know what I need to hook up an mp3 player. well anything with an audio source. ex: cd player. ipod, mp3palyer, etc

one if those splitter things that have a headphone jack on one side and the two audio rca wire things (red and white) on the other.
