My rule - no tint ftw.

Just take it off & be done with it.

why don't you just have it tinted to whatever the legal limit is in your state?

The legal limit in California is no tint. (Well, it's more of, it's such a small tint, you might as well not have tint)

Fix it tickets suck no matter where you're at. Most likely you will have to scrape the front windows then travel to your local precinct and have them look at it before they sign it off. After that you're going to have to wait until the officer files it and that's even if he does file it. Then after he files it you'll get a notation that he did and then you can head down to the courthouse of the county you got the ticket in and pay the fine.

I got a ticket for a burnt out light. Fixed it the next day, got it signed off and went down within that week to pay it. Only to be told I couldn't pay it because the officer hadn't filed it. ____ed me off so bad I went to the police station they guy worked at and talked to his superior and told him to tell Mr Wonderful to stop wasting my time since he was the public servant not me. Needless to say the guy didn't file it and I ended up paying it 2 months later. BIG PAIN IN THE ___.

I hope you didn't get the ticket in the Chula Vista part of San Diego... if ya did you're screwed. Stay out of CV with modified cars.

you can just pay bail and not take it off; i finally got my ticket in the mail today; if I take it off its $10, if I decide to keep it, the fine is $167...needless to say, my tint will probably be coming off, unless I can find a cop to sign off for me

serisouly dude just take it off and go pay the $25 and then get them retinted because it will be alot less than paying for the full fine.
