Ive recently purchased my first scion in november, ever since ive been addicted!! But anyways, some of you guys might have seen some of my posts in the past 2 months, but im new to the car club/meets that all you awesome scion owners goto. I live in west LA, was wondering is there any meets in west la? Would like to meet people of the same interests as me! I would drive out to like those OC or valley meets, but since i dont know anyone, it would be kinda awkward to go out to a place so far and not know anyone.

So guys any insight on a meet in west la, or any scion car clubs in west la would be much appreciated.

good luck on finding the right club. take your time check them all out. each has it's own + and -'s. so get a feel as they all have their own personalities too.

Thanks for all the replies! I never thought id get some much love from you guys! Def want to goto some meets, im not really a guy that likes to put madd decals on the ride in a car club, unless its my LLC business and so i can use it as a tax write off but then again, i have no idea of what the benefits of putting car club decals on my ride. , i would love to check out yall's rides and what not. Im a undercover car freak! everyone i work/know with has nice rides. One friend has an evo 9, new turbo, intercooler, redone suspension, cams, headers,brake lines, ported and polished, flashed, etc. Bastard has over 415hp at the wheel!!! and my boss bastard has a flashed 2007 m5 and a 2006 AL55 amg. and one more evo 9 stock, but still at stock , lil guys hauls ___!!!!!

I still find it weird to go to meets since I really don't know anyone and it still feels weird to meet people from online lol. There's a lot of clubs which sound good but its so hard to choose one, I think anyways. I wouldn't mind joining one but I'm pretty shy so.. yea haha.

 

thats how it usually is in the beginning, but as soon as you know 1 you will end up knowing everyone by the days end.

Actually, i went to a sti/evo meet at my friends shop when he just installed a awd dyno. Still was werid though , only knowing the owner. Lol people that were regulars, thought i was freeloading on the drinks and food

 

You live kinda far to try and find one together Though I have been to Venice and it is nice.. when the weirdos aren't at the beach! Haha. alpha has always peaked my interest but too nervous to go to an open meet or anything. Being shy has major downsides.

Yea but I know they do leave... sometimes haha. I do remember the canals when I was walking towards the beach, very cute!
