Default OEM Brake Pad Price deviation across SoCal...

So I had my 30K done and they suggested getting new brake pads - I opted out since they wanted $170 to change the pads out LOL. I called around and here's what pricing was across a few dealers:

Cabe Toyota (always the cheapest in my experience) - $49.95
Irvine Scion (closest to me) - $69.25
Tustin Scion (where I bought/service my car) - $63.95
Garden Grove Scion - $48.75

I ended up buying them at GG Scion...

Just thought it'd be useful for those of you that are up on maintenance!

My box gets the Waydo Suspension/Strut Bar and new pads installed on Thurs LOL. WOO HOO!

What did you end up paying for the 30K service and what did they do?

Exact service as stated in the maintenance book - $199.

New spark plugs, tighten drive shaft bolt, oil change, airfilter change, top off all fluids and check a bunch of crap LOL.

One more note:

I had to purchase a new shim set, apparently my box (model year 05) had the pads from an 04' - the part numbers changed and now that part # is obsolete...in order to fit the new pads I had to buy shims. $20 at the stealer. LOL.

Full maintenance complete, Waydo shocks in!

so you're getting hit w/ the $20 just because they don't have the old part? doesn't make sense...sucks!
