go to the DMV website, run the plate availability checker...u can change your plates to anything thats avail...it costs you money..they dont mind that a bit.

 

Grandpa D, it costs so much for a dang plate...............unless I'm not understanding something...........its $70 each year?????

My renewal for the Custom plates I think is $45.....but then again....Ive been consistantly late at paying my renewal tags...so its usually around a hundred a pop.


But yeah...You'll get to contribute extra $$ to the DMV for those custom plates.

 

Crappy DMV.................I just want my license change...............as in, change my numbers, but oh no, they want u to make a real "custom" plates so that they can *ching* on the money, ...................Curse u DMV

 

Memorial plates, Coastal, Tahoe, Yosemite, Arts, and Kids plates are $90.00 first time, and $70 bucks to renew. Environmental is $41.00 first time, $30.00 to renew.
All depends on what you want.

Just paid my renewal...149.39...not bad but that .39 is a PIA, they couldn't even pay for the return postage....WTF come ON!!

 

Oh, everyone................don't take this plate...............it belongs to the rightful owner, me, ...............there will only be one "teabox/TEABOX"...........for as long as I live, lol.

I guess I'll stick with the environmental one just cuz its cheap and I can live with the $30 renewal...................thanks grandpa D aka Daniel.......................word up.

Hey D, Which plates can you use the (hand) on? or is it any plate?

 

Too bad Cali can't make a true custom plate for me................I was planning on creating a plate with a teahouse as a background for the plate...............

 

The Hand is only on the Kids plates... one of those $70.00 renewal ones. U can get the Hand, a star, a heart or a plus (cross)
Teabox, you could always just get the environmental plates and airbrush a tea house on it. Just as long as the #'s are still reflective, I dont think the state can say anything.

 

True true, I didn't think of that............I think when I get my lip kit in and the box is in for painting, I'll ask if they can do a airbrush painting on the plates...........thanks Daniel aka grandpa D

Anyways, last night I saw a gang jump in right across my house.........its was cool to hear them repeating themselves over and over and over again.............well, it wasn't a jump in cuz the cops showed up and everyone ran off..................scary cats,
